About Four Counties

Four Counties was founded by Matthew Morris in 2006. Matthew grew up from a young age experiencing rogue tradesmen and many complaints about rouge tradesmen that came through the doors of his fathers DIY retail business.

Matthew realised at a later stage in his life that there was a need for quality and reliable tradesmen and embarked on starting up his own tiling business. Although he already knew about tiling and had some skills, he wanted to make sure that what he knew was correct. He therefore enrolled on to an intensive professional tiling course, learning new skills and improving on what he already knew. He starting to carry out small tiling jobs for people in and around Suffolk offering the quality and workmanship that people expect from a professional tiler. Four Counties Tiling has since gone onto be accredited for what it is capable of; carrying out true professional workmanship.

Matthew comments that, unfortunately, there are some very poor quality tilers out there that claim they are professional but are clearly not. Some don’t even understand substrates properly (the tiling background that tiles are fixed to), what can and can’t be tiled on to, weights how to level up floors etc

Four counties offer, and will continue to offer, comprehensive, professional and quality workmanship. We truly believe that what we offer is a second to none service. We can carry out all tiling projects from small simple jobs to some of the most complex tiling projects around, covering all types of tiles, designs and bespoke designs.
